Today I’m joining Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl to share books on my TBR that I predict will be 5 stars. That’s really easy, because I predict that every book that I add to my TBR is going to be 5 stars! I’m usually wrong, but that’s okay.
A few weeks ago I shared the most recent books added to my TBR, so I’ve included the ones that I’ve added since then and dug a little deeper into the stack to find a few that I haven’t discussed here before (at least, I don’t think I have).
- Ten Thousand Doors of January by Alix E. Harrow
- The Secret Commonwealth by Philip Pullman
- Ordinary Grace by William Kent Krueger
- The Long Call by Ann Cleeves
- Draft No. 4: On the Writing Process by John McPhee
- The Snow Child by Eowyn Ivey
- The Murmur of Bees by Sofia Segovia
- The History of Bees by Maja Lunde
- The Unquiet Dead by Ausma Zehanat Khan
- The Guns of August by Barbara Tuchman
- The Girl from Widow Hills by Megan Miranda
- The Glass Woman by Caroline Lea
Have you read any of these? Did YOU recommend any of these to me (if so, thank you!)? How is it possible that there are so many stories in the world and I have no hope to even get to a fraction of them?! And I love that!
Great list! I loved The Ten Thousand Doors of January, and The Glass Woman is one I’d like to try.

I adored The Snow Child. Hope you do as well. It’s the perfect thing to read on a snowy, winter day (if you live in a climate where that happens).

Lots of great choices here. Guns of August is on my life-time best books list. The Snow Child unexpectedly blew me away–it was great. I expected to “endure” it.

I have had Ten Thousand Doors of January on my TBR forever. Definitely hoping to get to it at some point this year.
I also have Lunde’s other book, The End of The Ocean sitting on my nightstand and it looks so good!
