Top 10 Tuesday – Bookish Items On My Wishlist!

TTT-NEW

This is my first time joining That Artsy Reader Girl since she took over Top Ten Tuesday. Big thanks to Janai for taking this on! Today’s topic is bookish items I’d like to own – so if you’re looking for holiday gift ideas, go check out all of the other posts linked up.

I love, love little bookish things. I’ve always been a notebook and bookmark collector. The gift section in bookstores? Heaven! Keep reading for a few things that I’ve been pining for lately.

A page anchor. I first saw this on Anne Bogel’s holiday gift guide this year and was delighted by it! It’s been a challenge to read lately because Bronwyn has been really clingy and not sleeping well. When I’m reading on my kindle, it’s not too hard to balance baby and book at the same time, but lately I’ve been reading fat physical books – which are much more difficult to manage one handed!! I think this page anchor would be a game changer for me.

startbay notebooks

A paisley traveler’s notebook from Startbay Notebooks.  Doesn’t that look delicious? I can smell it from here. For me, there’s nothing more luxurious than leather and this one is just gorgeous. They have an A5 cover, so it’s perfect for my Leuchtturm1917 notebooks.

And yes, I could always use more Leuchtturm1917 notebooks for bullet journaling! I spent a year in my hobonichi cousin and decided that the flexibility of the blank notebook just couldn’t be beat. In August, I moved back into the Leuchtturm and haven’t looked back! But there are about a million things you can do with a blank notebook, so don’t let me restrict you!

I have a New Yorker tote bag that I use for library trips. I imagine it being covered in awesome pins like the cuties shown above. I only have one pin on it now (“nasty woman”), but maybe… someday?

Every year I link to this library gift set and every year I secretly hope someone will buy it for me! But alas – not yet! I’m still fantasizing about turning my bookshelf into my own personal library and playing librarian!

too fond of books

The She Is Too Fond of Books mug at Carrot Top Paper Shop – because: of course. Actually, I’d be happy with anything from this adorable Etsy shop!

And one of my guilty pleasures is this Maxwell House Instant Hazelnut Coffee. I’m a total coffee junkie and wouldn’t typically own up to liking this stuff – but I love it!! So easy, so warming, and perfect on a chilly night with a quilt and a good book. And if you want to quickly boil some water for this coffee, keep reading!

I’ve been searching for the perfect electric kettle for about a year and I think Aunt Polly’s is the one. It has beautiful florals and looks like an actual tea pot – not to mention, it gets very good ratings on amazon!

A killer leather satchel. This is Fossil’s large Ryder Satchel, which is my new obsession. You need a place to stow your notebooks and kindle, right? And this baby is beyond beautiful. I went into my pinterest clothes board to find my favorite bag and I was reminded that I have great style, ha! Too bad all I wear these days are jeggings and oversized sweaters. But this purse would go with anything!

book ring

Bookish jewelry – isn’t this ring adorable? There’s so much out there to choose from, but I thought this ring was one that I needed to share.

I can’t wait to catch up with all of your Top 10 Tuesday posts and add even more to my wishlist! Do we share any coveted items? Did you see something here that sparked your interest?

Please note that the Amazon links in this post are affiliate links, which means that I will get a very small return if you choose to buy something after clicking over to the product. All money goes back into this blog. Thank you so much in advance!
