Friday | More Knitting

Happy Friday, friends! I hope your week has gone well. Mine has been one bump in the road after the other, but we don’t have to go over any of the details. I will share one small thing that will give you a pretty good idea about how things have been going: I have been stung not once, but twice, by yellow jackets this week. How does such a thing happen? Well, it is simply an indication of what my life is like. We will keep moving onward and upward.

I’ve been knitting like mad to stay sane this week. I’ve kept my Junction sweater on the counter in the kitchen and have pulled it out at every possible moment. I now have over 8″ done on the body! And IT FITS:

Please excuse all of my awkwardness. I am not a person who enjoys selfies. Anyway — I couldn’t be more pleased with how this is coming along. I was expecting our return to homeschooling to sideline my knitting progress, but that hasn’t been the case (yet).

This is about all I have for you this morning. I hope you have a weekend full of exactly what you need. Take good care!

  2. I am so sorry about the stings! I hope you’ve gotten more than your share of bumps in the road and the end of the week and weekend are smooth sailing from here. The sweater looks like it fits perfectly! I have a feeling that you will be wearing it a ton this fall and winter.

  4. That sweater is going to be stunning, Katie! I am sorr for the insect issues this week… sigh. That just sucks! I hope your weekend includes some more knitting and lots of reading!
