Good morning, March 2nd! Week 9 of 2020 has passed. It was February vacation week here, so I had my biggest bear at home with me the whole week and it was so much fun. My husband also took a vacation week and it was amazing to have him home as well! We didn’t go anywhere or do anything special, we just played the entire week. It was perfect. I’m counting down the days until April vacation.

And it was a good week all around! Almost all of my household chores got done without any real plan and with the extra people around the house. I surprised myself by reading nearly every day last week – I usually read while my husband is at work and I thought that time would be spent with him instead, but I was able to shift my day a bit and read during the baby’s nap time — which meant no knitting this week, but reading takes priority for me!
I managed to spend a few minutes writing for this blog every day, which pleased me. I often end up skipping Sundays, but I’m going to see how long I can keep up this Sunday streak.

Week 10 is fresh and ready to go! I have two excellent books started that I hope to finish this week (Bitter Orange and A Long Petal of the Sea) and I’m planning to finally start knitting a sweater that I’ve been coveting for years. March is the last month of the first quarter of the year and I hope to finish it strong!
What are your goals for March? Anything fun or special planned?
It is deliciously spring-like outside this morning and I hope that these days are what March is full of!

Reading > knitting for me, too. I love both. But I MUST read. It’s like breathing.
