Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend. It was a strange one here – we ended the week with snow days on Thursday and Friday and then Saturday was windy and frigid! But yesterday was bright and the sun made it warm enough for a good stretch of playtime outside, which made for a nice (and much needed) change.
And last week was a good one! I’m not sure what I was doing because I didn’t tick off very much from my to-do list, but nothing seems to have collapsed because of it!

I really like not assigning tasks to certain days! I tackle projects in small windows of opportunity and only call attention to what I did do at the end of the day – not what I didn’t do. I’ve been trying this strategy for two weeks and it’s been going well. I plan to continue again this week!
And my writing time in the mornings has bumped up a bit! That’s because I’ve been working hard to keep the two youngest up a little later at night so that they sleep in a bit later in the mornings. It means a little less time for reading in the evening, but more time early in the morning. Give and take, always! That’s okay.

Week 7 of 2020 is set up and ready to be filled. Tomorrow I vote in the primary and am a bit anxious about it. I think I know my candidate, but I have a close second who I also want to vote for. I wish NH had ranked ballots!!
Are you ready for the new week? Any big plans on the horizon?
It was a quiet weekend here, but that is okay! Last week, inspired by you, I tried a new list making plan – it worked…alright. I am tweaking a few things this week and trying again! I am hoping that in doing this the “big tasks” will actually get done and not perpetually moved from list to list!

Good luck with the big tasks! It always feels so good to tick those off the list, even though they rarely get done in my house! Maybe that’s why it feels so good 🙂
I hope your week got off to a great start!

This week has started off so strangely. I’ve had two days off due to weather. Our library system has decided to go with the school system’s weather policy, and they closed two days due to threat of area flooding. It’s a big change from our previous policy! Anyway, just thankful that the flooding wasn’t worse and that it’s back to work tomorrow. Our community needs their books! Hope your week is going well Katie.

I’m glad to hear that all is well! I hope you enjoyed your two surprise days off! It’s hard when my routine gets abruptly changed like that, but hopefully it was a welcome change for you 🙂
