Cozy Weekends

(I’m very sorry to email subscribers – an earlier version of this post was emailed to you on Thursday when I absentmindedly published this post when it wasn’t quite ready to go out! Let’s blame the heat, shall we?)

Happy weekend, friends! I hope the summer is treating you well – it’s a tough season for me, but I’m here today to share a few things I’ve been loving, coveting, and reveling in.

  • This Rosewater lotion from Crabtree & Evelyn is pure heaven. I’ve become obsessed with finding a signature scent thanks to Reine-Marie in the Inspector Armand Gamache series. Because I’m totally unoriginal, I sought out rosewater given that it’s her scent. I love it! It’s a light smell that instantly takes you into a garden of roses. My pillow and sheets now distinctly smell of roses too!

  • My phone case recently disintegrated so I had to look for a new one. My one requirement? Inexpensive. But luckily, I found the most adorable one that also fit my price requirements. I mean, look at that girl reading with her cup of tea?! It’s a bit flimsy, but I also paid less than $10 for it, so I’m not complaining. Plus, it looks great on my rose gold phone!

Have you seen these vintage typewriter keyboards? There are a ton on Amazon, but this one is my favorite. It can connect to your computer, laptop, or tablet via bluetooth or USB. The best part? All of the reviews describe it as very “clacky,” which I’m dying for. I’m trying really hard to justify buying this for myself!

I’ve been practicing with pivot tables and have now unleashed them on my reading log. With just a few clicks, I can easily see how many library books I’ve read, whether they were written by men or women, and the dates of publication. Friends, I’m swooning.

My husband is on vacation this week, so we’ve spent the evenings watching WWII movies (while I’ve been knitting). If you’ve been reading a while, you’ll know that WWII is my favorite historical era, so this has been an amazing week for me! There are so many movies out there, but here’s a sampling of what we’ve been watching:

I hope you all have a restful and fun weekend! No plans over here, we’re just going to try to make it through until Monday! Stay cool!!
