Introducing the Jibun Techo

Oh friends, I am so fickle. I have changed planners again! The Traveler’s Notebook served me well since September 2020, but I’ve been craving something a bit more like my old Hobonichi Cousin, but smaller and without the daily pages. I missed having a place where I could keep a running to-do list! Juliann introduced me to the Jibun Techo last summer and I hemmed and hawed over the last few weeks and finally decided to at least try it. It’s on sale right now since we’re already 1/3 of the way through the year, which encouraged me to take the plunge.

I’m still getting used to it, but enjoying it so far. It has little weather icons that I can simply highlight to document the weather for the day and there’s an area at the bottom for recording meals – so helpful when meal planning!

Another fun thing about the Bijun is that they sell sticky notes and to-do list stickies that are sized to fit in an exact spot of your planner. I find this revolutionary!

I went with the B6 slim so that it would fit in my current traveler notebook cover. Here’s what this size looks like compared to an A5 and the traveler’s notebook insert:

(sorry for the dark pictures – I took them late at night over the weekend.) It’s a smidge smaller than an A5 notebook, and slightly wider and shorter than the Travelers Notebook inserts. The size has worked well for me so far, but I have very small handwriting. I can see that this would be difficult for someone who wrote larger.

I’m excited to spend another week with it and feel it out some more. I’m not packing up my Traveler’s Notebook insert yet, just in case!

Friends, I’ve ran out of time this morning! I hope you all have a great start to your week and I’ll be back on Wednesday to chat books. Take care!

  1. I like my new Techno planner as well… it did not fit into my Travelers cover, so I got a new cover a couple of weeks ago and I am still trying to figure out how to work them both together! Thank you for sharing!

  2. I’m glad you could find a planner that suits your needs better. I would definitely need a planner if I still had children at home. Have a great week!

  4. Beats the scrappy notebooks and calendar I used when I had three boys to fettle. I’m still doing morning pages, nearly reached 200 days, and am now on the third notebook.
