Dear Ijeawele, or A Feminist Manifesto in Fifteen Suggestions by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. Kick me now, but I still haven’t read Adichie’s “We Should All Be Feminists,” which I’m going to read before her newest release. Dear Ijeawele is a response to a friend’s question about how to raise her daughter as a feminist. I’ve loved all of Adichie’s novels and enjoy watching her interviews; she’s smart, funny, and sharp, so I know that both of these books centered around a feminist life will be too.
Have you read We Should All Be Feminists? Are you planning to read this new one by her? I can’t wait to read both of these!!
