Friends, today I am posting my 100th post! WHAT?!
Thank you all for being so kind and generous with your time. I’ve truly enjoyed finding my tribe and sharing my interests with all of you. The best part about bookish communities is how no one really judges – people who read have such deep empathy for others that we understand when someone takes a break from reading, but then comes back with a vengeance and floods our readers with all of the books that they’ve finished! Not that I’ve been doing that or anything.
I’d also like to thank you for being patient with me as I move things around. I’ve recently switched to a self-hosting blog and have had a hiccup. My posts aren’t showing up on WordPress Readers, despite WordPress Support staff helping me migrate my followers to my new home. I’ve sent a message asking for help, but until then I will keep waving into outer space until some life form notices and saves me. It will be lonely until then!
I started this blog just over a year ago and was expecting it to be another passing phase. How many blogs have I had over the years? They never gain any traction and I never consistently write in any of them. I’ve never been very popular or able to follow through on big projects! But I am pleased with how long I’ve stuck with this and that I’ve made a few friends along the way, which makes my INFP heart sing.

Hooray! Happy 100 Posts! It feels good to stick with something – I know this, as a famous project abandoner.

But darn about the WordPress reader! I still haven’t heard back from WordPress support – they said it could be 24-48 hours. If I don’t hear back by tomorrow afternoon then I’m going to have to try again!
