Top 10 Tuesday – Favorite Books from WWII

Happy Tuesday!  And Tuesdays usually mean that I’m linking up with the Broke and the Bookish for Top 10 Tuesday!

Top Ten Tuesday

I completely missed the second part of this week’s challenge.  It was supposed to be The Top 10 Books from X-Genre that I’ve added to my TBR, but I overlooked the “that I’ve added to my TBR” part – d’oh!  I hope you’ll forgive me.  Today I’ve written about my Top 10 books set during WWII, even though I wrote a very similar post several months ago.  It’s simply my favorite genre – I love reading about the human spirit during that heinous war.  So, in no particular order:

1. The Nightingale: A Novel
2. The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society
3. The Boy in the Striped Pajamas
4. Night (Night)
5. Sarah’s Key

6. The Book Thief
7. Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl
8. Five Quarters of the Orange: A Novel (P.S.)
9. Chocolat
10. Number the Stars

I can’t wait to bulk up my TBR after I read all of the other link ups to this post!  Have you read any of these?  Do you like books set during WWII?  Do you have a WWII book to recommend to me?
